Library Services

All you ever needed to know about your Library

Computers

Computers are located in the main library and in our study rooms. They are equipped with Microsoft Office software, PDF viewing software, and access to the Internet. These computers are available to all current Brenau students, faculty, and staff with a Brenau log-in.

Information Technology’s adjacent Redwine Technology Center contains computer labs, additional computer carrels, and other resources. Contact IT’s Help Desk at (770) 538-4774 or helpdesk@brenau.edu for more information.

Printers

Brenau University is uses a print vending solution called WEPA. This stands for Wireless Everywhere Print Anywhere. WEPA allows for students to print from campus computers, personal laptops, USB memory sticks, and iPhones and Android smartphones. This partnership provides reliable printing at a low cost for students. WEPA printing currently costs $.09 for a black and white page, and $.49 for a color page.

Where can I find a WEPA:

  • Brenau East - Nursing Student Lab
  • Front of Brenau Trustee Library
  • Owens Commuter Lounge

Copiers

Copiers are available near the front desk of the library. The library supplies the copiers with standard 8.5″ x 11″ white paper.

Black and white copies cost 10¢ per page (double-sided printing costs 10¢ per side).

Color copies cost 40¢ per page.

Scanners

Scanning is available for free to all library users. It’s also fast and conserves a lot of paper – please scan rather than making copies whenever possible!

The Savin copier near the library’s front desk doubles as a scanner. Scanned documents will be emailed directly to your preferred email address as PDF or JPEG files. Instructions are posted on the wall above the scanner, but we’ll be happy to walk you through the process — just ask at the front desk.

DVD/VCR

A DVD player and a VCR player are available in a study room for viewing DVDs and videos placed on reserve.

Interactive Display Technology

MondoPad or ClearTouch interactive display technology is available to faculty and students in all classrooms. Keyboards, mice, and remote controls can be checked out at the information desk.
