Step 1 - Thesis/Dissertation Requirements

  • Complete and defend your thesis/dissertation according to your department's requirements.
  • Once your department accepts and approves your thesis/dissertation, they will verify that you have met your thesis/dissertation requirements and approve your request for electronic submission through the Brenau Trustee Library.

Step 2 - Thesis/Dissertation Submission

  • Create account at ProQuest's ETD Administrator.
  • Format your thesis/dissertation into one PDF file.
    • Be sure the final version of your thesis/dissertation includes a page with the signatures of your committee.
This should be placed directly after the title page.
    • IMPORTANT: Students must obtain written permission from the rights holders to reproduce any previously copyrighted illustrations, figures, tables, data, or tests/scales. Citing the source does not take the place of obtaining permission from the rights holders.
  • Upload file using the ETD upload tool. (Please follow ProQuest's required file conventions.
  • Complete and submit a Statement of Permission to Reproduce Thesis/Dissertation.

Ordering Print Copies

  • All students are required to provide copies of their theses/dissertations to the Brenau Trustee Library. Using ProQuest's ETD Administrator fulfills this requirement.
  • Some programs require that students order print copies for departmental records. Contact your department for specific requirements.
  • Orders must be placed before submitting your thesis/dissertation. The submission platform does not allow order details to be changed once the thesis/dissertation has been submitted.
