American Secondary Education "Founded in 1970, American Secondary Education is a refereed journal emphasizing secondary education theory and practice. ASE is a distinctive journal because it specifically serves those involved in public and private secondary education: administrators, teachers, and others. It is one of the few scholarly journals that examines current issues in secondary education."
Clearing House Peer reviewed articles reporting on useful practices, research findings and experiments, opinion on controversial issues, satirical articles and poems related to education for middle level and high school teachers and administrators.
English Journal A peer reviewed publication of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), featuring articles for junior & high school teachers of English and Language Arts.
High School Journal This peer reviewed publication seeks to further the reflective examination of the broad field of secondary education by reporting research, informed opinion, and occassionally, successful practices.
History Teacher A peer reviewed publication devoted to the teaching of history in the secondary and higher education classroom.
Journal of Adolescent and Adult Literacy Peer-reviewed, intended as an open forum for the literacy and language arts education of older learners. Goals are to encourage innovative ways of teaching and studying literacy and to address problems faced by educators.
Journal of Secondary Gifted Education "The Journal of Secondary Gifted Education underwent a title change in 2006. With the publication of Volume 17, Number 4, the journal’s title was change to the Journal of Advanced Academics."
Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School "Mathematics Teaching in the Middle School (MTMS) is an official peer-reviewed journal of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics and is intended as a resource for middle school students, teachers, and teacher educators. Research in Middle Level Education Online "Research in Middle Level Education Online (RMLE Online) is an international peer-reviewed research journal published by National Middle School Association. The journal publishes quantitative and qualitative studies, case studies, action research studies, research syntheses, integrative reviews, and interpretations of research literature."
